Seit Dezember 1997 gibt es eine neue Weißbierspezialität aus dem Hause Erdinger Weißbräu, die die kalten Wintermonate schmackhafter macht: Das erste spezielle Winterbier, die Erdinger Weißbier Schneeweiße.
Mit einer etwas dunkleren Farbe sowie leicht höherem Alkoholgehalt als der Klassiker Erdinger Weißbier mit feiner Hefe, bietet die Schneeweiße in der kalten Jahreszeit, in der man sich gerne etwas Besonderes gönnt, eine echte Abwechslung.
Für die Erdinger Weißbier Schneeweiße werden die ersten Malze aus der Sommerernte verwendet. Erst Mitte Oktober erhält das Spezialitätenweißbier dann - durch eine besonders lange Reifedauer - seine Bernsteinfarbe und seinen würzigen Geschmack. Eine ideale Ergänzung zu deftigen Speisen, die gerade um Weihnachten herum auf den Tisch kommen.
Das Saisonbier ist von November bis Februar erhältlich.
